HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 107-2001-" RESOLUTION NO. 10%2001 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING ITS CONTINUED SUPPORT OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIP, AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF GRANT FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF $71,6,53 FROM THE PENINSULA PARTNERSHIP AND AMENDING THE 2001-2002 OPERATING BUDGET (NO. 02-6) WHEREAS, staff recommends the acceptance of a grant from the Peninsula Community Foundation in an amount of $71,653 for the continued support of the South San Francisco Community Partnership; and WHEREAS, grant funding received from the Peninsula Partnership in fiscal year 2001/2002 will be used to amend the current budget for the Library Department; and WHEREAS, funds not expended at the end of fiscal year 2001-2002 will be carded over into fiscal year 2002-2003. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes continued support of the South San Francisco Community Partnership, authorizes the acceptance of grant funds in the amount of $71,653 from the Peninsula Partnership and amends the 2001-2002 Operating Budget (No. 02-6) to add $71,653 to the Library Budget. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, held on the 24th day of October 2001, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karyl Matsumoto and John R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tem Eugene R. Mullin and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. ATTEST: City Clerk
