HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 111-2001RESOLUTION NO. 111-2001 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A LIBRARY SERVICES AND TECHNOLOGY ACT GRANT FROM THE CALIFORNIA STATE LIBRARY IN AN AMOUNT OF $,53,900 AND AMENDING THE 2001-2002 OPERATING BUDGET (02-7) WHEREAS, staff recommends the acceptance of a grant from the California State Library in an amount of $53,900 to support Project Read's Computer Lab. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the acceptance of a Library Services and Technology Act Grant from the California State Library in an amount of $53,900 to support Project Read's Computer Lab and amending the 2001-2002 Operating Budget (No. 02-7) to add $53,900 to the Library Budget. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, held on the 24th day of October 2001, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karyl Matsumoto and John R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tem Eugene R. Mullin and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. ATTEST: City Clerk
