HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 113-2001RESOLUTION NO. 113-2001 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF EQUIPMENT AND INSTALLATION SERVICES FOR A CLOSED- CIRCUIT TELEVISION SYSTEM AND AN INTERCOM/AUDIO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM TO COMTEL SYSTEMS TECHNOLOGY, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $43,232.37 WHEREAS, staff recommends that the Closed Circuit Television and Intercom Systems Contract be awarded to Comtel Systems Technology, Inc., in the amount of $43,232.37; and WHEREAS, funding for this project is included in the City of South San Francisco's 2000- 2001 Capital Improvement Program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby awards a contract for the purchase of equipment and installation services for a closed-circuit television system and an intercom/audio surveillance system to Comtel Systems Technology, Inc. in the amount of $43,232.37. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, held on the 14th day of November 2001, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karyl Matsumoto and John R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tem Eugene R. Mullin and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. ATTEST: City Clerk
