RESOLUTION NO. 119-2001 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE PROGRAM WHEREAS, this resolution will establish the City of South San Francisco's goal for the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise that utilizes disadvantaged businesses to the maximum extent feasible but not less than the percentage of the contract cost established in the City's DBE program for federally assisted construction projects funded between October 1, 2001 and September 30, 2002. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby approves the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Program which is to utilize disadvantage businesses to the maximum extent feasible, as outlined in the program for federally assisted construction projects funded between October 1, 2001 to September 30, 2002. BE IT, FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the program on behalf of the City of South San Francisco. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, held on the 14th day of November 2001, by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karyl Matsumoto and John R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tem Eugene R. Mullin and Mayor Joseph A. Femekes NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. ATTEST: City Clerk
