HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 4-2002RESOLUTION NO. 4-200~2 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PURGING OF POLICE RECORDS IN ACCORDANCE WITH GOVERNMENT CODE, SECTION 34090 WHEREAS, this resolution authorizes the Police Department to purge records under the Department's charge that are more than five (5) years old, are no longer needed and otherwise meet the requirements for destruction as provided in Government Code, Section 34090. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby approves the purging of records identified in the Staff Report which are under the charge of the Chief of Police and certified for purging in accordance with Government Code, Section 34090. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 13th day of February 2002 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A. Femekes, Raymond L. Green and Karyl Matsumoto, NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. Mayor Pro Tem Pedro Gonzalez and Mayor Eugene R. Mullin ATTEST: eputy City Clerk
