HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 49-2008RESOLUTION NO. 49-2008 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPLY FOR AND EXECUTE A $75,000 GRANT FROM THE STATE WATER RESOURCES CONTROL BOARD FOR THE RECYCLED WATER FACILITY PLAN WHEREAS, on April 9, 2008, the City Council adopted a resolution to enter into a Memorandum Of Understanding with the San Francisco Public Utility Commission and the California Water Service Company to share the cost of developing a Recycled Water Facility Plan ("Plan"); and WHEREAS, allowing the City Manager to apply for a grant from the State Water Resources Control Board for the development of the Plan will make the City eligible to receive up to $75,000 . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San. Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to apply for and execute a grant from the State Water Resources Control Board for development of a Recycled Water Facility Plan. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 14t~' day of May 2008 by the :following vote: AYES: Councilmen Addie~o Garbarino and Mullin, Mayor Pro Tem Matsumoto and Mayor Gonzalez.
