HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 45-2001RESOLUTION NO. 45-2001 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE 90-DAY REVOCABLE PERMIT AND THE PERMANENT REVOCABLE PERMIT WITH THE SAN FRANCISCO PUBLIC UTILITIES COMMISSION TO OBTAIN USE OF A PIECE OF LAND 11 FEET BY 90 FEET TO CONSTRUCT A NEW RIGHT TURN LANE ON CHESTNUT AVENUE BETWEEN EL CAMINO AND ANTOINETTE LANE WHEREAS, this revocable permit is the final document required to proceed with the widening of Chestnut Avenue; and WHEREAS, the revocable permit will replace the existing permit and will include the extra land for the new right turn lane; and WHEREAS, the 90-day permit can be signed by the Land Management Office of San Francisco but the permanent permit must be approved by the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the 90-day revocable permit and permanent revocable permit with the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission to obtain use of a parcel of land 11 feet by 90 feet to construct a new right turn lane on Chestnut Avenue between El Camino and Antoinette Lane. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 23 day of May, 2001 by the following vote: AYES: Councihnembers Pedro Gonzalez, Kar¥1 Matsumoto and John R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tern Eugene Mullin and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. ATTEST: City Clerk
