HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 52-2001-' RESOLUTION NO. 52-2001 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE TENNIS DRIVE RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT TO GOLDEN BAY CONSTRUCTION, INC. IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $690,475 AND AMENDING THE 2000-2001 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET(No. 01-33) WHEREAS, the City desires to award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Golden Bay Construction, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $690,475 for the Tennis Drive Reconstruction Project; and WHEREAS, additional funds of $570,000 will be required to fund this project: $220,000 will be transferred from Measure A funds, $170,000 will be transferred from the Park Dedication Fees Zone 4, and $180,000 will be transferred from Project 0001, East Grand/Dubuque Intersection. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby awards the construction contract for the Tennis Drive Reconstruction Project to Golden Bay Construction, Inc. in an amount not to exceed $690,475 and amends the 2000-2001 Capital Improvement Program (CIP No. 01-33) to add $570,000 for the project. The funds to come from Measure A ($220,000), Park Dedication Fees Zone 4 ($170,000) and transfer from East Grand/Dubuque Intersection Project 0001 ($180,000). I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 27th day of June, 2001 by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karyl Matsumoto and John R.
