HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 55-2001RESOLUTION NO. 55-2001 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EMERGENCY REPAIR TO THE 15" SEWER LINE ON SWIFT AVENUE BETWEEN MICHELE COURT AND KIMBALL WAY, AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO INTERSTATE GRADING AND PAVING INC. AND AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 2000-2001 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET (CIP No. 01-35) WHEREAS, staff desires to award a construction contract to Interstate Grading and Paving Inc. for an emergency repair project to the 15" sewer line on Swift Avenue between Michele Court and Kimball Way. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes emergency repairs to the 15" sewer line on Swift Avenue between Michele Court and Kimball Way foregoing the formal bidding process, awards a construction contract to Interstate Grading and Paving, Inc. and authorizes an amendment to the 2000-2001 Capital Improvement Program budget (CIP 01-35) in an amount not to exceed $57,522.24 with funding from the Sewer Enterprise Fund. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 27th day of June, 2001 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karvl Matsumoto and John R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tern Eugene Mullin and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. ATTEST: City Clerk
