HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 76-2001 RESOLUTION NO. 76-2001 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO G. BORTOLOTTO & CO., INC. FOR THE 1999-2000 STREET RESURFACING PROJECT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $968,924.11 WHEREAS, staff desire to award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder, G. Bortolotto & Co., Inc. in an amount not to exceed $968,924.11; and, WHEREAS, the funds available for this project are the STIP TEA-21 Grant Fund in the amount of $813,000 and the Gas Tax Fund in the amount of $301,246.11. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby awards a construction contract to G. Bortolotto & Co., Inc. in an amount not to exceed $968,924.11 for the 1999-2000 Street Resurfacing Project with funding for the STIP TEA-21 Grant Fund in the amount of $813,000 and the Gas Tax Fund in the amount of $301,264.11. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 22nd day of August 2001 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karyl Matsumoto and John R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tem Eugene R. Mullin and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. ATTEST: City Clerk /
