Pursuant to provisions of the Brown Act, no action may be taken on a matter unless it is listed on the agenda, or unless certain emergency or special circumstances exist. The Chair may direct staff to investigate and/or schedule certain matters for consideration at a future meeting. If there appears to be a large number of speakers, the Chair may reduce speaking time to limit the total amount of time for public comments (Gov. Code sec. 54954.3(b)(1).). American Disability Act: The City Clerk will provide materials in appropriate alternative formats to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act. Please send a written request to City Clerk Rosa Govea Acosta at 400 Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, CA 94080, or email at [email protected]. Include your name, address, phone number, a brief description of the requested materials, and preferred alternative format service at least 24-hours before the meeting. Absent: Aaron Adriano, Danielle Leong, Claudia Miller, Nataly Quinteros. Public Comments: No public comments were made. Agenda Review: No changes to the agenda. Items from Staff Members: Review and approval of Draft Minutes from October 7, 2024 Youth Commission Meeting. Alex Lau called motion to approve October 7, 2024, minutes, seconded by Ally Tunque. All commissioners were in favor. Motion was approved. Matters for Consideration Discussion of Subcommittees and Vote to Establish New Subcommittees Alex Lau called motion to establish subcommittees, seconded by Vivek Narratom. All commissioners were in favor. Motion was approved. Commissioners established the following three subcommittees with the following commissioners in each subcommittee: 1) Community Engagement: Edward Tian, Alex Lau 2) Social Media: Alejandra Ramirez, Vivek Narratom, Ally Tunque 3) Voter Registration: Julia Tsuei Julia Tsuei called motion to establish the three subcommittees with the members as listed above, seconded by Alex Lau. All commissioners were in favor. Motion was approved.
