HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 79-2001RESOLUTION NO. 79-2001 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE FUNDING AGREEMENT AND THE LOAN AGREEMENT WITH THE SAN MATEO COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY FOR THE OYSTER POINT GRADE SEPARATION PROJECT PHASE II AND PHASE In WHEREAS, staff recommends the acceptance of a funding agreement and a loan agreement with the San Mateo County Transportation Authority; and, WHEREAS, the Oyster Point Fees and San Mateo County Transportation Authority grant funds will provide funding; and, WHEREAS, the 2000-2001 Capital Improvement Program identified the funding sources for the Oyster Point Grade Separation Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council accepts the funding agreement and the loan agreement with the San Mateo County Transportation Authority for the Oyster Point Grade Separation Project Phase 1I and Phase 1II. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the funding agreement and loan agreement (promissory note) on behalf of the City of South San Francisco. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 22nd day of August 2001 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karyl Matsumoto and John R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tem Eugene R. Mullin and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. ATTEST: City Clerk
