HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 2-2001RESOLUTION NO. 2-2001 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AWARDING THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE HICKEY BOULEVARD - HILTON AVENUE INTERSECTION WIDENING AND TRAFFIC SIGNALS INSTALLATION PROJECT TO BAY PACIFIC PIPELINES, INC., IN THE AMOUNT OF $970,697.50 AND AMENDING THE PROJECT BUDGET TO $1,331,612.50 WHEREAS, the City desires to award the construction contract to the lowest responsible bidder, Bay Pacific Pipelines, Inc. in the amount of $970,697.50 for the Hickey Boulevard - Hilton Avenue Intersection Widening and Traffic Signals Installation Project; and WHEREAS, the project is funded by the Fiscal Year 99-00 Hickey Blvd - Hilton Avenue Project (99-08), one time Gas Tax Allotment, Unallocated Leftover Funds from CIP Projects, Commercial Avenue Reconstruction & Magnolia Avenue Storm Drain, COSTCO Mitigated Fair Share Cost Contribution and Fiscal Year 00-01 Hickey Blvd - Camaritas Avenue Traffic Signals CIP. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby awards a construction contract for the Hickey Boulevard - Hilton Avenue Intersection Widening and Traffic Signals Installation Project to Bay Pacific Pipelines, Inc., in the amount of $970,697.50 and amends the project budget to $1,331,612.50. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 10th day of January , 2001 by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karvl Matsumoto and John R.
