HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 4-2001RESOLUTION NO. 4-2001 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 2000/2001 OPERATING BUDGET (NO. 01-22) APPROPRIATING $15,000 TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS, RECREATION AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES BUDGET TO COVER SIX MONTHS OF ADDITIONAL SALARIES AND BENEFITS FOR TWO NEWLY CREATED DEPUTY DIRECTORS OF MAINTENANCE SERVICES POSITIONS WHEREAS, staff recommends that the Superintendent of Public Works and the Superintendent of Parks and Facility Maintenance be reclassified to the position of Deputy Director of Maintenance Services to keep pace with the demands of the Division; and WHEREAS, each of the Deputy Directors of Maintenance Services would be compensated an additional $1,000 per month over their current salary. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby approves an amendment to the 2000/2001 Operating Budget (No. 01-22) appropriating $15,000 to the Department of Parks, Recreation and Maintenance Services budget to cover six months of additional salaries and benefits for two newly created Deputy Directors of Maintenance Services Position. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 10th day of January. ,2001 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karvl Matsumoto and John R.
