RESOLUTION NO. 9-2001 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY FOR THE CONVERSION OF EXISTING INCANDESCENT TRAFFIC SIGNALS TO LIGHT EMITTING DIODE TRAFFIC SIGNAL MODULES, AND AMENDING THE 2000/2001 OPERATING BUDGET (No. 01-25) WHEREAS, staff recommends the City enter into an agreement with Pacific Gas and Electric Company for the conversion of existing incandescent traffic signals to Light Emitting Diode Traffic Signal Modules; and WHEREAS, the total appropriation for the project is $214,245; and WHEREAS, reimbursement up to $184,068 will be received from P.G.&E. no later than August 31, 2001; and WHEREAS, the remaining $30,177 will come from the City's General Fund Undesignated Reserves. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes an agreement between the City of South San Francisco and Pacific Gas & Electric Company for the conversion of existing incandescent traffic signals to Light Emitting Diode Traffic Signal Modules and amends the 2000/2001 Operating Budget (No. 01-25) in the amount of $30,177 from the City's General Fund Undesignated Reserve Account to complete the project. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 14th day of February , 2001 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karyl Matsumoto and John R.
