x Introduction to Library Board – meeting rescheduled to May 27, 2025
The Library Director and Library Board has invited the Youth Commissioners to attend their
upcoming Library Board meeting on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 6:00 p.m.
x Live Beyond Teen Wellness Event
Youth are invited to participate to a mental health awareness event at the Library | Parks and
Recreation Building on Thursday, May 8 at 4:30 p.m.

x Public mentioned concerns about teachers at their schools. Assistant Library Director Adam
Elsholz recommended the School Board meeting.
MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION
1. Review and Approval of Draft Minutes from the April 7, 2025 Youth Commission Meeting
Motion to approve the minutes from the April 7, 2025 meeting was made by Commissioner Nataly
Quinteros and seconded by Commissioner Lorraine Yin. All members were in favor.
2. Review and Possibly Amend Youth Commission Bylaws
Commissioners reviewed the Youth Commission Bylaws.
Motion was made to modify Article VI, Section A to add that the standing issue subcommittee
must not reach quarem and delete Section B.

Reorganize and Rebuild Sub-Committees
Current Sub-Committees are: Civic Engagement, Social Media and Community Engagement.
