HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 18-2001 RESOLUTION NO. 18-2001 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A REQUEST FOR FUNDS FROM SAN MATEO COUNTY CONSORTIUM FOR HOME PROGRAM FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $800,000 WHEREAS, the San Mateo County HOME Consortium has allocated $2,249,455 to provide federal financing for variety of affordable housing; and WHEREAS, funds will be distributed on a competitive basis through a request for proposals process administered by the County; and WHEREAS, the City will be requesting $800,000 in HOME funding for fiscal year 2001- 02 to implement a HOME Program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City is hereby authorized to request funds from the San Mateo County Consortium for HOME Program Funding and the City Manger is hereby authorized to execute all documents necessary to secure the grant fund. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 14th day of March ,2001 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Karyl Matsumoto and John R.
