HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 72-2000RESOLUTION NO. 72-2000 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO SCAVENGER COMPANY AND THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A TRAFFIC LIGHT AT THE INTERSECTION OF EAST GRAND AVENUE AND LITTLEFIELD AVENUE WHEREAS, the City desires to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding with the South San Francisco Scavenger Company for the construction of a traffic light at the intersection of East Grand Avenue and Littlefield Avenue; and WHEREAS, this project is to be funded by Measure A Funds in the amount of $138,000. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes a Memorandum of Understanding between the South San Francisco Scavenger Company and the City of South San Francisco for the construction of a traffic light at the intersection of East Grand Avenue and Littlefield Avenue. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the Memorandum of Understanding on behalf of the City of South San Francisco. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 28th day of June ,2000 by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez and Eugene R.
