HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 73-2000RESOLUTION NO. 73-2000 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A PUBLIC STREET DEDICATION, SUBJECT TO IMPROVEMENT, FOR THE EAST END OF EAST JAMIE COURT AS OFFERED ON PARCEL MAP P.M. 98-013 WHEREAS, as a condition of approval for the subject tentative parcel map, the subdividers and property owners, Richard and Arthur Haskin, have agreed to dedicate a public street right-of-way at the end of East Jamie Court to accommodate a cul-de-sac turn-a-round area that is being constructed by the South San Francisco Scavenger Company, pursuant to an encroachment permit issued by the Engineering Division; and WHEREAS, approval of this resolution will accept the offer of dedication and will be so noted by the City Clerk on the map, before it is recorded in the County records; and WHEREAS, the offer of dedication and improvement of the street right-of-way is provided at no cost to the City of South San Francisco. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby accepts a public street dedication, subject to improvement, for the east end of East Jamie Court as offered on Parcel Map P.M. 98-013. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 28th day of June ,2000 by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez and Eugene R.
