MATTERS FOR CONSIDERATION
1. Review and Approval of Draft Minutes from the May 5, 2025 Youth Commission Meeting
Motion to approve the minutes from the May 5, 2025 meeting was made by Commissioner Alex
Lau and seconded by Commissioner Lorraine Yin. All members were in favor.
2. Review and Possibly Amend Youth Commission Bylaws
Assistant Library Director, Adam Elsholz, shared a draft of the amended bylaws. The
Commissioners reviewed.
ITEMS FROM COMMISSIONERS
3. Sub-Committee Updates
Chair Julia Tsuei will create a sign up sheet to sub-committees. The sign up sheet will be sent out
so that Commissioners can sign up.
4. Announcment from Commissioner Jon Liangco
Commissioner Jon has been accepted to the National Youth Commission, meetings will be held
three times a year. Congratulations to Jon!!
5. Feedback from Library Board meeting
Commissioner Lorraine Yin attended the Library Board meeting. Learned about possible loss of
funds to libraries. Articles that were distributed at the board meeting were passed around to
Commissioners.

Being no further business, Chair Julia Tsuei adjourned the Youth Commission meeting at 7:13 PM.
