HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 104-2008RESOLUTION NO. 104-2008 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF LSTA FUNDING IN THE AMOUNT OF $20,000 FROM THE CALIFORNIA STATE LIBRARY AND AMENDING THE LIBRARY DEPARTMENT'S 2008/2009 OPERATING BUDGET WHEREAS, staff recommends the acceptance of a :Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant in the amount of $20,000 from the California State Library to support the "Transforming Life After 50" program; and WHEREAS, the funds will be used to amend this year's operating budget of the Library Department. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby accepts Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) grant in the amount of $20,000 from the California State Library to support the "Transforming Life After 50" Program and amends the 2008-2009 Operating Budget, to reflect an increase of $20,000 to the Library Department's budget. * ~ ~ I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 22"d day of October 2008 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Mark N.
