HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 109-2000RESOLUTION NO. 109-2000 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF $190,000 FROM THE CITY SERVICES FUND TO THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET TO FACILITATE THE REMODELING OF THE COMMUNICATIONS CENTER AND AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 2000-2001 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET (No. 01-7) WHEREAS, the present configuration of the Communications Center located at the Police Department is not as conducive to effective use of space, equipment and employee interaction; and WHEREAS, staff recommends the remodeling of the Communications Center to make it more efficient and employee friendly; and WHEREAS, staff recommends that funds from the City Services Fund be used for the remodeling of the Communications Center. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby approves the transfer of $190,000 from the City Services Fund to the Capital Improvement Program budget to facilitate the remodeling of the Communications Center and authorizes an amendment to the 2000-2001 Capital Improvement Program budget (No. 01-7) to add $190,000 with funding from the City Services Fund. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 27th day of September ,2000 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Eugene R.
