HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 122-2000RESOLUTION NO. 122-2000 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR THE HICKEY BOULEVARD - HILTON AVENUE INTERSECTION WIDENING AND TRAFFIC SIGNAL INSTALLATION PROJECT AND INSTRUCTING STAFF TO REDESIGN AND MODIFY THE SCOPE OF WORK TO MEET FUNDING REQUIREMENTS WHEREAS, staff recommends to reject all bids for the Hickey Boulevard - Hilton Avenue Intersection Widening and Traffic Signal Installation Project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby rejects all bids for the Hickey Boulevard - Hilton Avenue Intersection Widening and Traffic Signal Installation Project and instructs staff to redesign and modify the scope of work to meet funding requirements. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 1 lth day of October , 2000 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Eugene R. Mullin and John R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tem Joseph A. Fernekes and Mayor Karvl Matsumoto NOES: None. ABSTAIN: Councilman Pedro Gonzalez ABSENT: None.
