HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 129-2000RESOLUTION NO. 129-2000 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $121,640 FROM THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR TECHNOLOGY IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 2000-2001 OPERATING PROGRAM BUDGET (No. 01-10) TO ADD $121,640 TO THE POLICE DEPARTMENT BUDGET WHEREAS, staff recommends the acceptance of a grant in an amount of $121,640 from the State for Technology in the Police Department; and WHEREAS, the funds cannot be used to supplement any current funding programs; and WHEREAS, staff is considering using these funds to upgrade the report-writing program. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the acceptance of a grant in the amount of $121,640 from the State of California for Technology in the Police Department and approving an amendment to the 2000-2001 Operating Program budget (No. 01-10) to add $121,640 to the Police Department budget. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 25th day of October ,2000 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Eugene R.
