HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 131-2000RESOLUTION NO. 131-2000 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION WAIVING NOTICE REQUIREMENT FOR SAN MATEO COUNTY REGARDING EMERGENCY HOMELESS SHELTER AND ALLOCATING AN ADDITIONAL CDBG GRANT OF $30,000 TO THE PROJECT WHEREAS, the County of San Mateo is responsible for the entitlements required to expedite this project in order to complete construction and begin operations this winter; and WHEREAS, the tight schedule precludes proving the notice as required and staff recommends waiving the notice and providing the additional funds. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby waives notice requirement for San Mateo County regarding emergency homeless shelter and allocates an additional CDBG grant of $30,000 to the project. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 25th day of October ,2000 by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Eugene R.
