HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 12-2009RESOLUTION NO. 12-2009 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFIED FEES RELATED TO THE ALARM SYSTEM ORDINANCE AND APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO INCORPORATE THOSE FEES WHEREAS, staff recommends modification to the Master Fee Schedule for 2008-09 fiscal year as set forth in the staff report and Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, the fees reflect the reasonable costs of providing the subject services. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby approves the Master Fee Schedule as modified to include those fee amendments specified in the staff report and attached exhibits hereto. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 28t" day of January, 2009 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Richard A. Garbarino, and Kevin Mullin, Vice Mayor Mark Addiego and Mayor Karyl Matsumoto NOES: None ABSTAIN: None ABSENT: None ATTEST: ~~ City Clerk Exhibit A AMENDMENTS TO THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE The following should be added to the Master Fee Schedule: Permits Alarm Registration (SSFMC Title 6 Ch. 6.60)** $25.00 for each alarm permit Alarm Renewal (SSFMC Title 6 Ch. 6.60) ** $25.00 for annual renewal False Alarm Fines: $50.00 3rd thru 5th alarm $100.00 6t" thru 8t" alarm $250.00 9t", lOt", etc. alarm Non-registered Alarm System $50.00 (may waive fine if alarm system registered within 10 days of documented violation) False Alarm Fine Appeal $25.00 for each appeal.
