HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 141-2000RESOLUTION NO. 141-2000 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $401,500.00 FOR THE SEISMIC RETROFIT OF THE PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE AND APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 2000-2001 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET (NO. 01-17) WHEREAS, staff desires to establish a budget in the amount of $401,500.00 for the Seismic Retrofit of the Pedestrian Bridge; and WHEREAS, the South San Francisco Unified School District will pay $54,500 towards the repairs and $30,000 will be provided from the City of South San Francisco's Gas Tax; and WHEREAS, $264,000 is reimbursable from the Highway Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program Mandatory Seismic Retrofit fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby amends the 2000-2001 Capital Improvement Program budget (No. 01-17) to add $401,500.00 for the Seismic Retrofit of the Pedestrian Bridge with funding from the Gas Tax fund, South San Francisco Unified School District and the California Highway Bridge Replacement Fund. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Special meeting held on the 21st day of November ,2000 by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez and Eugene R.
