HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 138-1999RESOLUTION NO. 138-99 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADJUSTMENT OF THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT SALARIES IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE 1999 COMPENSATION SURVEY FOR THE EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT GROUP WHEREAS, part of the 1997 agreement with the executive management group was that the City would have a salary survey conducted for implementation in July 1999; and WHEREAS, the standard survey was conducted based on the City's regular survey agencies and methodology; and WHEREAS, based on Council's direction, a salary range has been developed; and WHEREAS, the attached Exhibit "A" summarizes the proposed salary change; and WHEREAS, other than for those previously made agreements, this adjustment is 5.3% of the unit's wages. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco is that the City Council hereby authorizes the adjustment of the executive management salaries in conformance with the 1999 compensation survey for the Executive Management Group. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager is hereby authorized to adjust executive management salaries in conformance with the 1999 compensation survey for the Executive Management Group.
