HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 55-2009RESOLUTION NO. 55-2009 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION APPROVING STORMWATER MANAGEMENT SERVICE CHARGES FOR FISCAL YEAR 2009-2010 WHEREAS, South San Francisco Municipal Code Chapter 14.04 enables the City to levy charges for the local portion of the San Mateo County Stormwater Management Program; and WHEREAS, notices were published and a public hearing was held on June 24, 2009 as required for the enactment of the subject stormwater fees; and WHEREAS, funding for the local program requires $842,479; and WHEREAS, the Stormwater Service Charges are maintained at the level established in Fiscal Year 1997-98. 1. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, hereby confirms the Stormwater Management Service Charge formula attached hereto as Exhibit A, for Fiscal Year 2009-2010. * * * ~ I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 24th day of June, 2009 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Pedro Gonzalez, Richard A. CommerciaUIndustrial (a) 20,000 sq. ft - 5,352 sq. ft. (base) x $17.86 = $ 66.74 [3.73 EDU's] (b) 43,560 sq. ft = 5,352 sq. ft. (base) x $17.86 = $145.36 (1 acre} [8.13 EDU's] 4.
