HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 4-2000 RESOLUTION NO. 4-2000 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION CONCERNING FUNDING FOR THE PROPOSED WESTBOROUGH COMMUNITY SWIMMING POOL WHEREAS, the Westborough Pool Trust Fund has a balance of $192,132.00 (including $150,000 in-lieu park fee contribution by the City); and WHEREAS, the Westborough Community Swimming Pool Fundraising and Advisory Committee remains committed to its fundraising efforts and has respectfully requested another extension of its timeline to raise funds for the pool. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes commencing February 1, 2000 the continuation of the designated reserve of $150,000 of in-lieu park fees for the proposed pool in Westborough, subject to the following: Only in-lieu park fees from the St. Francis Heights Sub-Division in the Westborough area shall be so designated. ° The designated money will only be available if and when the in-lieu park fees are received from the developer. ° If three million dollars is not raised by February 1, 2001 to construct a swimming pool, the designated funds will revert back to the general in-lieu park fee fund. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council hereby reaffirms and adopts the stipulations. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 26 day of January , 2000 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Eugene R. Mullin, John R. Penna, and James L. Datzman, Mayor Pro Tem Joseph A. Femekes and Mayor Karyl Matsumoto NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. City Clerk
