HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 7-2000 RESOLUTION NO. 7-2000 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION QUITCLAIMING AN EXISTING 40' ROADWAY ACCESS EASEMENT CROSSING A PORTION OF THE LANDS OF ROBERT E. SIMMS AND ACCEPTING THE GRANT OF AN ALTERNATE ACCESS EASEMENT ACROSS THE SAME PROPERTY AT A DIFFERENT LOCATION WHEREAS, staff has determined that the proposed access easement will provide sufficient access around the Rest Parking Structure to the rear of the Water Quality Control Plant, to accommodate the City's needs; and WHEREAS, quitclaiming the existing easement will permit Mr. Simms to construct and operate the REST Parking Structure. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes the quitclaiming of an existing 40' Roadway access easement crossing a portion of the lands of Robert E. Simms and accepting the grant of an alternate access easement across the same property at a different location. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manger is hereby authorized to sign the quitclaim and to record both documents in the County Official Records. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 26 day of January , 2000 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers Eugene R. Mullin, John R. Penna, and James L. Datzman, Mayor Pro Tem Joseph A. Femekes and Mayor Karyl Matsumoto NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. ATTEST:
