CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF STOP SIGNS
AT TWO LOCATIONS IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
WHEREAS, the Engineering Division and the Police Department have been working
together to standardize several three-legged and four-legged intersections to "all-way" stops in
order to alleviate confusion, reduce delays at intersections, assign appropriate right-of-way to
approaching motorists, improve public safety, and reduce the City's liability; and
WHEREAS, staff desires to install stop signs at two locations in the City of South San
Francisco in order to convert these intersections to all-way stops; and
WHEREAS, no additional funding would be necessary to install the stop signs at these
locations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby approves the installation of stop signs at Rockwood Drive
at Greenwood Drive and E1 Campo Drive at Alta Loma Drive, as recommended by City staff.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
