HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 25-2000RESOLUTION NO. 25-2000 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EMERGENCY REPAIRS TO THE CYPRESS AVENUE MAIN SEWER LINE, FORGOING THE FORMAL BIDDING PROCESS, APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1999-2000 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET (CIP 00-2) WHEREAS, the 18" Sanitary Sewer main line on Cypress Avenue has developed numerous cracks and is broken below the Central Fire Station; and WHEREAS, staff desires to conduct emergency repairs to the 18" inch Cypress Avenue main sewer line that runs from Miller Avenue to Second Lane; and WHEREAS, funding for this project is available in the Sewer Enterprise fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes emergency repairs to the Cypress Avenue main sewer line, forgoing the formal bidding process, approves plans and specifications prepared by Staff for the repairs, appropriates $98,130 for the repairs and amends the 1999-2000 Capital Improvement Program budget (CIP 00-2) with funding from the Sewer Enterprise fund. I hereby certify that the foregoing is a true copy of the resolution adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco in a Regular meeting thereof held on the 12th day of April, 2000 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers James L. Datzman, Eugene R. Mullin, and John R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tern Joseph A. Fernekes and Mayor Karyl Matsumoto NOES: None. ABSTAIN: None. ABSENT: None. ATTEST: C~y Clerk
