HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 37-2000RESOLUTION NO. 37-2000 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1999-2000 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM BUDGET (NO. 00-6) ESTABLISHING A PROJECT BUDGET OF $1.8 MILLION FOR THE HILTON HOTEL SITE REMEDIATION PROJECT WHEREAS, City desires to assist in the efforts to remediate the proposed Hilton Hotel site; and WHEREAS, the remediation consists of landfill closure and monitoring procedure, repair of landfill clay clap, installation of gas collection system, removal of contaminated material and technical analysis, permits and approvals; and WHEREAS, the General Fund will allocate funds for this project with repayment from the Transient Occupancy Tax. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes an amendment to the 1999-2000 Capital Improvement Program budget (No. 00-6) establishing a project budget of $1.8 Million for the Hilton Hotel Site Remediation Project with funding from the Undesignated General Funds. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the 26th day of April ,2000 by the following vote: AYES: NOES: ABSTAIN: ABSENT: Councilmembers James L.
