Called to Order: 6:35 p.in.
Roll Call: Present: Councilmen Garbarino, Gonzalez and
Mullin, Vice Mayor Addiego, and Mayor
Matsumoto.
Absent: None.

Public Comments -comments were limited to items on the Special Meeting Agenda.
None.
Council interviewed applicants to fill Board and Commission term expirations and
vacancies as follows:
Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee ("BPAC"): Teresa Avelar, Aaron Boyd and
Mary J. Malkinson.
San Mateo County Mosquito Abatement District ("SMCMAD"): Mary J. Malkinson and
Ray Honan.
Parking Place Commission: Mary J. Malkinson, Norm Faria and Frances Luster.
Discussion and appointment of applicant to the BPAC.
After discussion, Council voted by ballot yielding the fallowing result: Teresa Avelar was
appointed to BPAC for a term effective immediately.
Motion -Councilman Garbarino/Second -Councilman Gonzalez: to appoint Teresa Avelar to
BPAC for a term. effective immediately. Unanimously approved by voice vote.
6. Discussion and appointment of applicant to Sl`~~CMA.D.
After discussion, Coanci'_ Noted by ballot yielding the following result: F_ay Honar~ was
appointed to the Si~1CMAD.
Motion -Councilman Garbarino/Second -Councilman Mullin: to reappoint Ray Honan to the
San 1~~lateo County Mosquito Abatement District for a ter~ri expiring December 31, 2013.
Unanimously approved by voice vote.
7. Discussion and appointment of applicants to the Parking Place Commission.
After discussion, Council voted by ballot yielding the following result: Frances Luster and 1VTonn
Faria were reappointed to respective terms on the Parking Place Commission expiring December
31, 2012.
Motion -Councilman Garbarino/Second -Councilman Addiego: to reappoint Frances Luster
and Norm Faria to the Parking Place Commission for respective terms expiring December 31,
2012. Unanimously approved by voice vote.
8. Adjournment.
Being no further business, Mayor Matsumoto adjourned the meeting at 7:50 p.m.
