HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 113-1998RESOLUTION NO. 113-98 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR THE 1998-99 STREET RESURFACING PROJECT TO O'GRADY PAVING, INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $988,880.00, APPROVING THE PROJECT BUDGET IN THE AMOUNT OF $1,116,880 AND APPROPRIATING $74,742.00 FROM GAS TAX WHEREAS, staff desires to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder, O'Grady Paving, Inc. in an amount of $988,880.00 and approve the project budget in the amount of $1,116,880; and WHEREAS, outside funding is available for the project in the amount of $1,042,138.00, but the remaining $74,742.00 needs to be appropriated from the City's Gas Tax fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes an award of contract for the 1998-99 Street Resurfacing Project to O'Grady Paving, Inc. in the amount of $988,880.00, approves the project budget in the amount of $1,116,880 and authorizes the appropriation of $74,742.00 from the City's Gas Tax fund. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regul ar meeting held on the 9th day of__ Sept., 1998 by the following vote: AYES: Councilmembers James L.
