CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING A SURVEY AREA FOR AMENDMENT OF THE EL
CAMINO CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT AREA
WHEREAS, it is the intent of the City of South San Francisco, pursuant to the provisions set forth in
Health and Safety Code Section 33310, to designate a survey area for the purpose of determining if amending the E1
Camino Corridor Redevelopment Project Area is feasible.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that it
hereby, pursuant to the above recital, makes the following findings:
(1) That all the property described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference,
is hereby designated a survey area and requires study to determine if amending the E1 Camino Corridor
Redevelopment Project Area is feasible.
(2) That such designation and study is necessary to carry out the purpose and intent of the Community
Redevelopment Law.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco finds and determines:
That the Planning Commission is directed to cooperate with the Redevelopment Agency of the City of
South San Francisco by selecting a project area and preparing a preliminary plan for purposes of redevelopment.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at a r~gtl] a r meeting held on the 2FIth day of Oct. ,1998 by the
following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers James L. Datzman, Joseph A.
Matsumoto and Ma.vor Euqene R. Mullin
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: Councilmember John R. Penna
ABSENT: None
