CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING PUD 98-059 AUTHORIZING A
TWO-ROOM ADDITION TO AN EXISTING MOTEL
WHEREAS, the Developer requested approval of PUD 98-059 authorizing a two-room addition to
an existing motel and specified reductions in parking and side yard setbacks. The project is categorically
exempt pursuant to CEQA Guidelines section 15301, minor alterations to an existing structure; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing and considered all evidence presented; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that improvements required as part of the approved
PUD are of superior quality and will offset advserve impacts of the requested exceptions; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that will not be unreasonably detrimental to the health, safety
and welfare of persons working or residing within the vicinity of the property, based in part on the City
Council=s determination that adequate parking will exist on the site, that the exterior will be remodeled
and that access for the disabled will be improved; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the site is suitable for type and intensity of land use
proposed; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that it hereby approves PUD 98-059 subject to the conditions of approval.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regul at' meeting held on the 24th day of__
Nov. ,1998 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers James L. Datzman, Joseph A.
Matsumoto and Mayor Eugene R. Mullin
