CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO
WATKIN & BORTOLUSSI, INC. IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED
$645,143 FOR THE COLMA CREEK LINEAR PARK PROJECT AND
APPROVING A BUDGET AMENDMENT TO THE 1998-99 CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP 99-5) BUDGET
WHEREAS, staff desires to award a construction contract to the responsible bidder,
Watkin & Bortolussi, in an amount not to exceed $645,143; and
Inc.
WHEREAS, in lieu park fees are to be provided by the developer, SummerHill Homes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that the City Council hereby authorizes an award of contract to Watkin & Bortolussi,
Inc. in an amount not to exceed $645,143 for the Colma Creek Linear Park project and approves
a budget amendment to the 1998-99 Capital Improvement Program ( CIP 99-5) to add $695,143
for the Colma Creek Linear Park project with funding from the in-lieu park fees paid by
Summerhill Homes.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a Regular meeting held on the It, th day
of April , 1999 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Mullin, John
R. Penna, Mayor Pro Tem Karyl Matsumoto, and Mayor James L. Datzman.
