CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AND FILE AN APPLICATION FOR STATE
TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM FUNDING IN THE
AMOUNT OF $598,000 FOR THE REHABILITATION OF FORBES
BOULEVARD
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that:
1.) The City of South San Francisco will provide necessary local matching funds; and
2.)
The City of South San Francisco understands that the State Transportation
Improvement Program Funding for the project is fixed at $598,000, and that any
cost increases must be funded by the City of South San Francisco from local
matching funds, and that the City of South San Francisco does not expect any cost
increases to be funded with State Transportation Improvement Program Funds;
and
3.)
The project will be built as described in the resolution, and if approved as
programmed in Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) and
Transportation Improvement Program (TIP); and
4.)
That Senate Bill AB 45 established deadlines will be met as they relate to the
project; and
5.)
Funds have been set aside in the 1999-2000 Capital Improvement Program for
$54,000 to cover the initial design costs for this project; and
6.) $1,532,000 is programmed for fiscal year 2000-2001 for completion.
