CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AND CALTRANS RELATED
TO IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE SOUTH LINDEN RAILROAD
CROSSING AND APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1997-98
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP 98-14)
WHEREAS, the City has applied for Section 130 funds (federal) to improve the railroad crossing
at South Linden Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City is required to enter into an agreement with CalTrans in order to receive the
funds; and
that:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
1. The City Manager is authorized to execute the CalTrans Agreement for Program
Supplement Agreement No. 002-M to Administrative Agency - State Agreement No. 04-5177 for the
improvements to the South Linden Avenue railroad crossing.
2. An amendment to the 1997-98 Capital Improvement Program (CIP-98-14) is hereby
approved to add $25,000 to the current budget for the South Linden Avenue railroad crossing with the total
approved amount of $60,000 being utilized as the City's ten percent contribution in addition to the
$566,000 of Section 130 funds.

Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regu l ar' meeting held on the 28th day of_
