CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1997-98
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (98-16) TO ADD $2.2
MILLION FOR THE OYSTER POINT BOULEVARD WIDENING
PROJECT
WHEREAS, the proposed budget for the Oyster Point Boulevard Widening Project will total $4.4
million including design costs; and
WHEREAS, it is anticipated that tax increment funds from the Shearwater redevelopment area and
the Downtown Central Redevelopment area will be used to fund the cost of said improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of South San Francisco does hereby approve
an amendment to the 1997-98 Capital Improvement Program (98-16) to add $2.2 million to the project
budget for the Oyster Point Boulevard Widening Project, with $1.9 million to be appropriated from the
Shearwater Redevelopment Project, and $300,000 to be appropriated from the Downtown Central
Redevelopment Project.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a rogu 1 a r meeting held on the ?Rth day of _
danuary , 1998 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers James L. Datzman, Joseph A. Fernekes,
Matsumoto, John R. Penna and Eugene R. Mullin
