CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A REPORT OF ANNUAL SEWER
RENTALS AND CHARGES FOR 1998-99 PURSUANT TO
CHAPTER 14.12 OF THE SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO MUNCIPAL
CODE
WHEREAS, the City Council has given notice and on June 24, 1998, held a public hearing as
required by law on the subject sewer rates; and
WHEREAS, in May 1996, the City Council directed implementation of a three-year rate
adjustment to finance costs associated with the Water Pollution Control Plant, including expansion
thereof; and
WHEREAS, the rates imposed and reflected in the Report of Annual Sewer Rentals and
Charges are consistent with the three-year financing plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council, by a minimum two-thirds
vote, hereby adopts the Report of Annual Sewer Rentals and Charges, and directs that the rates so
established shall be collected on the official tax assessment roll, together with real property taxes, and
that the amount shall constitute liens upon the properties which shall be effective at the same time and
to the same extent as is provided for by law in the case of real property taxes, with like penalties for
delinquencies.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 24th day
of dune , 1998 by the following vote:

REPORT OF SEWER RENTAL CHARGES FOR 1998-99
IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 14.12 OF THE
SOUTI:I SAN FRANCISCO MUNICIPAL CODE
In accordance with Chapter 14.12 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code, the following
report prepared as of June 24, 1998 is submitted. The report describes the procedure of
charging those parcels of real property which directly receive the benefits of municipal
sanitary sewer services and the amount of the annual charge or rental which will be imposed
against each parcel for fiscal year 1998-99.
Summary of Rentals or Charges. The following is a summary of the-amaual remal or
.charges for 1998-99.
All commercial and industrial properties
All residential properties, except those serviced
by Westborough County Water District

Sewer Rental Account File. This report refers to and incorporates by reference the
report entitled "Rate Determination and Revenue Program Summary," prepared by
and on file at the City of South San Francisco Water Quality Control Plant. The
report mmmafizes the 1998-99 sewer rental charge that will be proposed to the City
Council on June 24, 1998. Upon adoption of the proposed charges, or amendments
thereto, a report entitled "City of South San Francisco Sanitary Sewer Charges,"
prepared by Engineering Data Services, Los Altos, California, will be completed. The
report will describe by Assessor's Parcel Number each parcel of real property
receiving directly the benefits of municipal sanitary sewer service and the amount of
annual charge or rental imposed against each parcel for fiscal year 1998-99. All of
these documents, including this report shall be' filed with the County Tax Collector
or Auditor. Accompanying the filing of this report shall be the Clerk's endorsement
that the report has been adopted by the City Council.
