CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
AND THE CONFIDENTIAL BARGAINING UNIT, FOR
THE PERIOD OF JUI.Y 1, 1997 THROUGH JUNE 30, 2000
WHEREAS, the representatives of the City and the Confidential Bargaining Unit have reached
agreement on those wages and conditions of employment which are to be in effect during the period of July
1, 1997 through June 30, 2000;
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends that the Agreement be approved by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that:
(1) It hereby approves the Agreement between the City of South San Francisco and the
Confidential Bargaining Unit attached hereto as Exhibit "A", which sets forth those wages and conditions
of employment to be in effect during the period of July 1, 1997 through June 30, 2000;
(2) The City Manager is directed to prepare a revised compensation plan booklet
incorporating the changes set forth in Exhibit "A" subject to review and approval as to form by
the City Attorney.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regul ar meeting held on the 8th day of_
Oct. , 1997 by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers James L. Datzman, Eugene R. Mullin, John R.
Penna, Robert Yee and Mayor Joseph A. Fernekes
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
