CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AMENDING COMPENSATION PACKAGE FOR THE
CITY CLERK AND AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 70-96
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco effective January 1,
1997, as follows:
1. The City Clerk's bi-weekly salary shall be $2,479.22 and the City Clerk shall be entitled
to receive those benefits (excluding car allowance) generally accorded to Executive Management
personnel as amended by Resolution No. 66-96 which include such benefits as holidays, retirement,
worker's compensation, sick leave, administrative leave, health, life and other insurance coverage. With
regard to administrative leave, the City Clerk shall be entitled to receive 70 hours of administrative leave
per year. The City Clerk shall be allowed to redeem, for cash value, up to 70 hours of administrative
leave per year. The City Clerk may undergo an annual comprehensive multiphasic physical examination
at City expense by a qualified medical facility. The City provides up to $700.00 per fiscal year for this
~ictivity or for employee wellness activities as determined by the City Council all terms of this resolution
shall be effective with the adoption of this resolution.
2. The City Clerk's bi-weekly salary shall be $2,603.18 effective January 1, 1998.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regu] aneeting held on the 8ti'day of January, 1997
by the following vote.
