CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE 1995-97
CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM ADDING THE PROJECT OF
REMOVING UNDERGROUND FUEL TANKS AT FIRE STATION NO. 2
AND THE CORPORATION YARD FOR A TOTAL COST OF $100,000
WHEREAS, State law requires that all single wall underground tanks be
replaced by December 1998; and
WHEREAS, tests have shown that the underground fuel tanks at Fire
Station No.2 and the Corporation Yard are leaking; and
WHEREAS, the San Mateo County Health Department has ordered that the
tanks be drained and removed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco hereby authorizes CIP budget amendment 97-10 to the 1995-
97 Capital Improvement Program in the amount of $100,000 from the non-
designated general fund reserves for removal of underground fuel tanks at Fire
Station No. 2 and the Corporation Yard.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a
reg,tl~r meeting held on the 12th day of February ,
1997 by the following vote:
