CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING FUNDS FROM THE OYSTER
POINT FUND AND AMENDING THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT
PROGRAM (CIP 97-2) FOR OYSTER POINT HOOK RAMP/
FLYOVER
WHEREAS, the Hook Ramp and Flyover are an integral part of the
Oyster Point Interchange Project and represent Phase II and Phase
III to the completion of the overpass; and
WHEREAS, Phase I is now complete, and Caltrans has accepted
the bridges and ancillary construction and signalization; and
WHEREAS, preliminary alignment of the hook ramps interferes
with the location of the Indian middens on the Terrabay site; and
WHEREAS, funding is needed to study the relocation of the
ramps which drives the alignment of the flyover, in the amount of
$51,000,(budget amendment (a)) and based upon the feasibility of
the hook ramp study it is recommended that the flyover be designed
to the contract document stage, in the amount of $500,000 ((budget
amendment (b)); and
' WHEREAS, the estimated construction cost for the project is
approximately $10.8 Million; and
WHEREAS, developer fees will reimburse the Oyster Point fund
for these expenses.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city
of South San Francisco that:
The 1996-1997 Capital Improvement Budget (CIP 97-2) is
hereby amended (a) to transfer funds for a feasibility
study of the hook ramp location in the amount of $51,000,
and (b) to transfer funds for the design and alignment of
the flyover to the contract document stage in the amount
of $500,000
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a reqular meeting held on the llth day of
September , 1996 by the following vote.
