CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING ELIZABETH S. NISPEROS AS
REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
AT THE SISTER CITY CELEBRATION AT PASIG CITY, A
REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES
WHEREAS, on Wednesday, May 22, 1996, the City Council
unanimously adopted Resolution No. 91-96 officially establishing a
Sister City relationship between South San Francisco and Pasig
City; and
WHEREAS, it is now appropriate to carry forward the documents
establishing this relationship and the City has been invited to
participate in the Sister City Celebration in Pasig City scheduled
for June 27 through July 8, 1996; and
WHEREAS, since there are no members of City Council available
for the trip, Elizabeth S. Nisperos, recently elected to the
position of Vice-President of the South San Francisco Sister
Committee, has been selected to represent South San Francisco at
the celebration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of South San Francisco that it hereby approves the designation of
Elizabeth S. Nisperos as representative of the City of South San
Francisco to hand carry and present the Mayor's message, Resolution
No. 91-96 and appropriate gifts to Pasig City, a Republic of the
Philippines scheduled for June 27 through July 8, 1996.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a re§u]ar meeting held on the 12th day of .]un~ ,
1996 by the following vote:

Councilmembers Joseph A. Fernekes, Eugene R. Mullin,
John R. Penna, Robert Yee and Mayor Jack Drago
