CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED STATEMENT
OF OBJECTIVES AND PROJECTED USE OF COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR FISCAL YEAR
1995-1996 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE ALL DOCUMENTS NECESSARY TO SECURE
AN AWARD OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT
FUNDS FOR THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
WHEREAS, following interviews by the City Council, the City
Council CDBG Subcommittee has made preliminary funding
recommendations for the City Council;
WHEREAS, Said funding recommendations are set forth in
detail in Exhibit "A" to the staff report included herewith;
WHEREAS, Notice of this Public Hearing was published in the
Enterprise Journal on April 16, 1995;
WHEREAS, Notices were sent to community organizations that
had submitted applications for funding;
WHEREAS, The City's CDBG entitlement grant for 1995-1996 is
$793,000;
WHEREAS, The City is now prepared to submit a proposed
Statement of Objectives and Projected Uses of Community
Development Block Grant Funds for fiscal year 1995-1996 to the
Department of Housing and Urban Development;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco, that:
1. The City Council hereby approves the proposed Statement
of Objectives and Projected Use of Community Development Block
Grant Funds for fiscal year 1995-1996, as specifically set forth
in Exhibit "A", to the staff report which is included herein by
reference;
2. The city Manager is hereby authorized to execute all
documents necessary to secure an award of the CDBG funds pursuant
to the allocations approved herein.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco at a r~gu]ar meeting held on the 26th day of
April , 1995, by the following vote:
