CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING SUBMITTAL OF GRANT
APPLICATION TO THE BAY AREA AIR QUALITY
MANAGEMENT DISTRICT THE MULTI-CITY TRAFFIC
MANAGEMENT PROGRAM FOR A GUARANTEED RIDE
HOME PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Bay Area Air Quality Management District is
seeking grant applications for AB434 funds for projects to reduce
air pollution from the use of motor vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the City of South San Francisco is a member of the
Multi-City TSM Agency (MTSMA) representing the cities of Brisbane,
Colma, Daly City, Half Moon Bay, Millbrae, Pacifica, San Bruno and
South San Francisco, which Agency administers transportation system
management projects and programs for these cities; and
WHEREAS the cities of South San Francisco and Millbrae, in
conjunction with the Multi-City TSM Agency, are desirous of
submitting a joint application for a Guaranteed Ride Home Program
(the proposal).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the city
of South San Francisco as follows:
1. The City of South San Francisco approves, supports, and
will participate in the joint proposal to be submitted by the
Multi-City TSM Agency, which is hereby authorized to submit the
joint application, and will provide staff assistance and oversight
of the project as necessary.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the city Council of the City of South
San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the 13th day
